| Singleton, also known as Highlander, is a
100-card format of Magic the Gathering in which all cards except basic
lands are restricted (no more than one copy of a card may be used).
Before a game, a player may reveal an opening hand of 0,1, 6, or 7 lands
to take a free mulligan. Mulligans are treated normally after a free
mulligan. This site contains Singleton variations and banned lists for each of those
variations.

RAVNICA SEALED BOX TOURNAMENT
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7th, 2005, 8:30 PM
PRIZES: Each player will submit three Ravnica
boosters before the tournament. These three boosters may be taken
from the player's box (leaving that player with 33 boosters for deck
construction) or in addition to their box (giving the player 36 boosters
for deck construction). First place will receive the majority of the
boosters while second place will at least receive their entry boosters
back.
DECK CONSTRUCTION: Each player will have exactly
one hour to open his boosters and construct at least one 60-card-minimum
deck. This primary deck must be used to start all matches. The
remaining cards from the box may be used for sideboarding.
TOURNAMENT STRUCTURE: 5 rounds random (going into
the fifth round, undefeated players or players with the best records
must play each other)
MATCH PLAY AND SIDEBOARDING: Matches will be the
best two-out-of-three games. In between games, a player may
sideboard any number of cards. There is a five minute limit for
sideboarding. Decks not submitted within the five minutes results in
a game loss.
*** It is recommended that you bring 100-200
sleeves for this tournament. This way, you can sleeve any
sideboard cards or alternate decks during deck construction for the
purpose of quickly sideboarding.
